Excel “File in Use” Function

Excel "File in Use" Function

Did you know…that you can be notified when someone closes an excel file that you need to open?!?!?

When you have more than one person trying to open an Excel file it gives you the "File in Use" locked for editing screen.

Well, if you…

1.     Click the Notify button, it will let you know as soon as that person has closed the file

2.     Click the Read-Write button, to open the file

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!  If you would like to be removed from the distribution just let me know!
